When You're Sick, Who Do You See?

Here's a hypothetical for your friends who say, "We can't have a trial lawyer in the White House."

Suppose you're sick. Who do you go see? You don't go see just anyone. You go to a medical professional who performs a medical act and you get better. Makes sense.

Now, suppose you are looking to hire someone whose job is to decide which acts of Congress become law. Obvious choice is a legal professional. Someone trained in the law.

Let's review:

Medical Act Required ===> Medical Professional

President Shows Spine

President Shows Spine

In another attempt to show Senator John Kerry as a wishy-washy flip-flopper, President Bush prominently displayed his spine during the first presidential debate. The spine, which literally leapt out of the President's body at one point, appears to have previously belonged to Barbara Bush, the First Mother. Mrs. Bush is well known for displaying the spine against people with whom she disagrees. A classic example appears in Al Franken's book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them.

Now in paperback.

Makes a great gift.
